The Enoch Calendar Debate: Why the Wednesday Start Doesn't Add Up

The Enoch Calendar is a debated topic in biblical studies, and many believe it’s perfectly calibrated to always start on a Wednesday. This idea has been popularized through the Zadokite writings found in the Dead Sea Scrolls, but is it really what Scripture teaches? 🤔 In this video, I examine the Wednesday-start theory and whether it aligns with God’s instructions for counting to Pentecost. If the calendar were fixed entirely and never changed, why would God command us to count 50 days every year to reach Pentecost? Could it be that the calendar was originally designed to vary slightly each year instead of being rigidly locked into a single starting point?
